    There are too much websites of the classifieds listings where you will get more traffic.

    High traffic has nothing to do with paid or free classified. It all depends on the quality of the classified websites.
    You just need to check a few things to ensure that you'll get good traffic:
    - website reach (how many people visits your ad)
    - is that website popular or not in your country (alexa.com can help in this)?
    - How your ads look?
    - Can you find your ads by entering related keywords in search bar (on website)?
    - Can you ads be found by browsing categories?

    If answer to all these questions is positive, then you'll definitely get good traffic, even if your classified is free

    Most of these are just good for nothing, you'll just endup wasting your time and efforts. choose only 4 - 5 high traffic websites, like locanto, craigslists, etc.

    I found Backpage is also great one beside craigslist
    which by the way I can't use because it requires
    US phone verification!

    I only got great results from Backpage!
    I tested maybe five or six classifieds, but I didn't get any
    results worth mentioning!

    My advice to you is to check Alexa ratings
    for various free and paid classifieds, before
    you chose to post ads.

    Focus on those with high Alexa rankings!

    There are plenty of classifieds in India alone but from last few month quikr base much stronger then other Indian classified site, now quikr buy sell ads seen on TV also..

    Quikr, Olx is very famous in India by their advertising.

    Lot of other websites like locanto, tamilanads, click, also growing day by day with lot of features.
