May be your site has bad backlinks, backlinks for same id, low quality content and doing over optimization. According to Panda and Penguin these activity are very bad, that way your site lost ranking.

    Hai,

Mysite too had a loss in backlinks and a little SERP. It is because of a Panda update that was rolled out on Feb 13th and a few updates after that. Mostly the backlinks to the index page of your site would have been dropped by Google.

There is nothing to worry and you can come back to the market with submissions to high PR directories along with quality content.

Also remove all links from your sites to sites having lower PR than yours. It will be considered as link selling by Google and will penalize your site. Also if there are any links coming from some spam sites to yours, submit those sites in Google Disavow tool to remove those backlinks.

    Hope it was helpful.

    Thanks

penguin 2.0 ins the problem, so look at your backlinks, disavow the bad ones, and add new related backlinks

    Hi Mohammad,

As mentioned above, Penguin 2.0 might be the cause for your drops in search engine ranking. You might have some links from non reputable sites, blog posts on site that aren't related to you website content , paid text links using exact match anchor text, article marketing sites or comment spam. These are some of the factors that you should definitely look into.

There is also a tool you can use (requires registration but it's free and gives you lots of valuable info) to check the penalties by penguin 2.0 and other Google updates. It will use Google Analytics to check for penalties, so you need to have a analytics account. The tool is called Google Penalty Checker:http://fruition.net/google-penalty-checker-tool/

    Hope this helps!

The main reason would be unnatural and low quality links, now you have to avoid this for better result, I would say.

Seems a little scary that you have to provide someone else with your Google Analytics data.

@DVDUVAL Do you mean aside from sharing your data with Google who uses the info for a whole range of nefarious activities? Short of building out a custom analytics app this is the only way to reliably get the data that is needed for Fruition's penalty checker statistical analysis to have any level of accuracy. You can view the privacy policy and what the data is used for (you don't give up ownership in the data).

Have you checked Google Webmaster Tools to see if you have a Manual Penalty?

    Hello,

Google updated their algorithm rapidly because they want to give a perfect information to their user and the latest Google update is Penguin 2.0 according to this algorithm 2.3% search query of English language is affected.

To recover from the effect of Penguin 2.0 you have to remove all the low and spammy links from your site, pay more attention in your content, remove all spammy inbound links, remove all those links which are come from Black hat SEO techniques....

    Thank you...
