I see here many bloggers talking about DA and PA of their websites, I know about DA( domain authority ) but what is site PA ? Is PA a part of SEO ?
Hello, PA is acronyms for Page Authority, knowing your PA you can view your site's progress. Thank you...
Its Page Authority for more detail about PA just click here : http://moz.com/learn/seo/page-authority
DA and PA are from Moz. It's similar to PR (page rank) from Google. Domain Authority -------------------- - DA represents Moz's prediction for how your website would perform in SERPs. It measures the strength of the whole domain. - You can use DA to compare your site with other site and to measure the strength of your site over time. - DA is calculated by adding up the linking root domains, total # of links, and other factors. - It's very easy to get your DA between 20 to 30 but gets difficult after that! Page Authority ---------------- - PA represents Moz's metric for for individual pages of your site rather than as a whole. - Similar to DA, it's easier to get your PA to 20-30. When it comes to DA vs PA, both are equally important but if I were to rate in numbers, I would give 51 to DA and 49 to PA. You can check your page's DA & PA from Open Site Explorer and several other tools. Let me know if I can be of more help
Depends upon what you are looking for. These are good to check before buying links. PR1 with DA15+ PR2 with DA25+ PR3 with DA30+ PR4 with DA40+ PR5 with DA50+ PR6 with DA55+ PR7 with DA60+
I forgot to tell guys about this. The best way to increase page authority is to improve your overall SEO, especially the link profile of your site. You can do this by getting more links from other well linked pages! Thanks and good luck
@pupul i totally agreed with him because i also keep in mind these things while sell or purchase of backlinks. You are doing a great job and i hope in future you will also update us.
I don't really know what you mean by "authority", because Google doesn't have an official signal by that name. But there is the domain's PageRank and there's a particular page's PageRank. Both depend on the number and the PR-passing potential of backlinks pointing to them. There are also audit SEO tools that can tell you both, a domain's PageRank and the PR of its individual pages.
Kianu, as I already mentioned in this thread, "authority" is not a factor/signal of Google. It's from Moz. DA and PA are from Moz. It's similar to PR (page rank) from Google. But it's an important factor in SEO and helps in determining the value of site. As someone else pointed out in the thread, I should also say, DA & PA go hand in hand with Google's PR in SEO terms. Please read my post, it's #12 in this thread! I hope that gives you more insight on what DA and PA are and how they differ from Google's PR.
If you're looking to buy high quality backlinks, I honestly wouldn't look into anything less than 40-45 DA. Stick to the 45-70 range and you'll be golden. Good luck!
But Vig, you also need to look deep down and get backlinks from sites with 20-30 DA. Getting more links from ONLY high PR/DA domains will make you look like a 'spam' in the eyes of google.
