    Welp, I did it. I bought a site for $3,000 back in November and just closed the Escrow transaction for it for a cool $110,000. :cool:

    This isn't my first sale but it's my biggest. I learned a lot on here and just wanted to stop back in to say thanks. Now that I have some free time I'd like to pay it forward by returning the favor so let me know how I can help. :)

    Congratulations. That's an impressive figure. Can you tell me what were the changes you made to the site after purchasing it? Did you add more content and do SEO?

    After I bought it I changed the domain name to a catchy .com (it was a .net). I did add content for it, but slowly, over time. I didn't do any SEO, it just kind of took care of itself once the traffic started flowing.

    Sounds too good to be true but I have seen crazier things happening before. Would be really nice if you could share some more insight into what the industry the website operates in and also how you managed to find the new seller and also the business model of the website before and after you took over it.
