Contest Unique/Creative Graphic Design Contest - $40

I have a somewhat unique contest. For marketing purposes, I need to have a medal designed. It won't actually be made into a medal.

The size/shape is a 2 1/4" circle. Should be flexible to be re-sized to 2 to 3".

I do not want the strap or anything to be included on the medal. Just the circle. This is for running related events, so I would like the color schemes (red, oranges, yellow, etc) to look fast & exciting but at the same time, it cannot look too busy. You may or may not want to include any characters or objects in the design, but everything must be original.

I would like to have the following words incorporated. They can be subtle or they can be prominent based on your creativity. The importance is in order as if they do not all look good on the design, do not include them all.

1) Accomplishment
2) Determination
3) Motivation

Thanks for your entries. We are still a bit off.

The words do not have to be prominent. They can be subtle and/or in the background.

I am thinking in the center of a modern looking runner (colorful) or a shoe with flames/wings or something creative. Here is an idea (definitely don't want a copy of this as it must be original)

Spikesolo - I like the overall look, just would like more straight lines for the runner if possible.

 

So make the image of the runner less curvy?

 

Yes, doesn't have to look as much like an actual human

 

OK, Spikesolo's is getting closer. I think some were going off some of the other designs and a bit off of what I was hoping for. I do want to decide within 24 hours if I can get something that is a fit. I am far from a designer, but trying to give some more ideas to all of you who are creative

Here are some thoughts - a runner finishing with the banner in front. The runners look better when they don't look too real.

Or a shoe with wings. Obviously these are for example only and I would need something original and MUCH better
