Give them negative feedback if you feel it's justified. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/marketplace/feedback
A bit late now but I always advise people to check references before paying for content. Someone who doesn't deliver after being paid likely won't be able to produce references, someone who is honest and has good ethics likely will. Not foolproof, but in my experience works most of the time.
I know but he had a good feedback. He hasn't been online since I sent him the payment. Which was like 4 days ago.
As seller two completed and he has two likes. Guess that's not enough enough. Sorry for bothering you guys. I guess it's my fault. I hope he answers however. I guess there isn't that much I can do now except wait for him. Thanks again.
Well a like is not transaction feedback... Either way, one of the two transactions he's completed is from you. So really, he had a couple likes, and completed 1 transaction for $6 (but didn't get feedback from it). If he doesn't give you what you bought, give negative feedback and file a PayPal dispute.
I presume that you are referring to (had paid for) needing articles written? I can provide you a list of very good writers here on DP if you need them. I have interacted with them personally. Let me know and I'll be happy to help. I've been on here long enough to know who is who and what is what, when it comes to some of the writers on here.
Hi mate, It blows when you get scammed. But we live and learn, relax, have a beer, file a dispute and leave negative feedback (if you feel like you've waited long enough). It might not do help much, except for the beer (whisky, wine or whatever). You can never know for sure who might scam you - it could even be someone with tons of posts, etc. Look through their posting history and get an idea of what they are like. Are they someone who posts stuff such as "I like cheese", "my favourite colour is GREEN", etc? If you can find threads where there are some reviews, that's great. Check their profile too for profile posts - another red flag is people leaving complaints there. All the best for your future ventures (and enjoy your relaxing beer ).
I have had this but in reverse! I have done hours of work and not been paid for it, it does suck and it is very annoying whichever side of the fence you are sitting on. It has made me a little dubious about accepting more work from here, but not everyone is like that. I wouldn't always charge upfront but maybe a deposit of 50%. At least that way I know I am getting something for my time and the buyer hasn't parted with loads of cash until they get the work.
OP I would recommend the above writer, and can personally attest to her sense of honesty and ethics. And you can also check out her posts, this girl can write.
OP, I know paying twice for the same content isn't ideal but if you want to PM me we can discuss it further
