Best Resource for New Bloggers

I've recently (within the past couple months) started up a blog to establish myself as an authority within my niche.

While I do have one or two resources that I use, what are the best resources (free or paid) that you used as a guide to building, launching and driving traffic to your blog?

You definitely want to do some SEO and get your site ranked by Google. You want get high quality back links to your blog as well. You can also contribute to a forum that your blog is related to and put a link to your blog as a signature. The more you contribute to the forum the more people will click on you link and visit your blog. These are just some simple things you can do to get some traffic rolling to your blog. There are many resources for bloggers, the I think the best way to become successful is to engage with other bloggers and read some of the top blogs related to blogging.

 

With the first line I think you want to establish yourself as authority using this blog.If this is the case so you have to offer something unique with in the specific niche for free for some time.You have to give them something excpetional to expect them believe you are right authority guy for this field. popular boggers in your niche and comment on their blogs.
It's a good thing for building awareness of you as an authority,
again there is free traffic and backlinks creation (good for SEO).

Participating in forums makes sense also. It's very similar to
commenting on blogs!
There are for sure many other ways, but these are probably
top priority!

I think it really depends on your niche.

With blogging I like to focus more on social media outlets to build a quicker traffic flow. When it comes to SEO on the blog site, I usually just make a page that consists of a bunch of articles all on their own pages and more SEO-ified then my blog posts.

I view blog posts as something inherently needing to be entertaining. Of course, all of your content should be somewhat entertaining.

That's just my philosophy.
