Straight to the point. I am an aussie dog walker, and i have a source of wholesale meat based dog treats that I consider good enough to sell to my clients. I have been selling them for two years on the internet to Australians. A year ago I was ranked 5 on google for the core keyword, but house reno and a new baby took my eye off the ball. Since the panda and penguin and numerous updates I have slipped to midway on page two. I regularly update my site, post on my fb, twitter and google plus account. I just cant get traction ... I used to do article sites, lots of forum posts anything, but I have been told that generic links (not industry specific) are helping less and less. I have checked the top ranked sites links and dont see anything special or necessarily recent to beat my site? What am I missing? There are under 400 exact searches for my core keyword per month (Google Australia), however numerous spin-offs. If I can make it to number 3 rank or better I will make a living in my chosen industry. If you can help in anyway - please no generic pay by the month, or rent a link schemes - then please let me know. I am willing to do the manual work or find a way of outsourcing. I don't care if this is a small challenge for you, a massive hurdle, if you are a big or small company or just a very nice human being. I am here because this is a trusted internet community.
