Recommend a seo book or tutorial

I am looking for a seo book or tutorial that deals with implementing seo on an existing site that is going to undergo some changes such as

1. Change site's slogan text
2. Change category or product names on home page or other pages
3. Add new meta keywords to site's existing pages or change the keywords
4. Add internal links for new site features or pages
5. Add social media links etc.
6. Change domain name
7. Change hosting servers
8. Change website desig

Anyone knows a good one ?

 

This will be interesting as there are so many different opinions

I take it you have read the basics like Google SEO pdf and Bing SEO blog ?

Also Google webmaster pages are very useful but also very fragmented in many ways of course.

I will write a good SEO book myself when I find the right partner to do so as have a plan to do so but need someone to do it with the way I would like to do it, so it offers more than one perspective as too much gets left out when it is done by one alone IMHO.

Would probably sell quite well I would have thought what with my knowledge which is added to each and every day, which is also the nature of SEO which changes all the time but has the one constant at it's core.

Can't wait to see what others suggest?

 

Revelations-Decoder is right when he says that the nature of SEO changes all the time but has core fundamentals that you should know about.

I'll give a video course source and a book recommendation.

The video course comes from Lynda.com where they have a SEO Link Building Course and a SEO Fundamentals course.

At the end of the Fundamentals course they recommend this book.

I have a few colleagues who recommend that book as well and it seems like the industry as a whole has faith in that author.

Thank you all for the suggestions... I do understand basic seo ....

And I did have that book in mind The Art of Seo though I wasn't sure if it dealt with the changes etc... That's another vote for that book...

I don't think so there would be any book for SEO the course is changing rapidly..

Another question that just came to my mind - how much of the above stuff (including the Art of Seo book) is still applicable after the panda and penguin updates from google?
