No ads, just blank space showing up

I haven't used AdSense for a while and thought I'd give it a try now, but none of the ads I've created are showing up.

All I see is a white blank space.

Considering I selected Fill space with a solid color, even if there aren't any ads available at the moment, is having a white blank space normal?

    Any hints?

Note: I'm trying to show those ads on a website which is not accessible online.

Update: apparently, as soon as I posted this, ads showed up. :D

This can be closed I guess.

Why do you *CENSORED* post if you have nothing useful to say? Those ads were not showing up for about an hour before I posted this.

Did you even read my fist post, especially the part about my website not being accessible online? How can they review something that they do not have access to?

    Hi,
Actually I'd have been stunned if your ads had showed up straight away. I'm working with lots of clients helping with new applications, and Google's own wording in the account confirmation email mentions that "Your ads will show up as blank spaces until approved" the second stage of the approval can take from 2-5 days typically, so your's sound fast, and it is down to a manual reviewer looking at your site, so that's a warning to those applying who think a robots reviewing it! I've had clients show white space for 2 weeks before getting an email confirming 2nd stage approval, and ones get approved 4 hours after the first email. As they are now appear to be running a two stage process e.g. when you get the first email saying you've been accepted don't go wild posting code everywhere. Wait until you get the second part of the approval and the ads start showing before posting code on any other site - My Tip of the day and I hope you find it helpful

but in 2nd part of approval you must need to put code in your website where you apply in adsense they review your site than approval or disapproval but thanks for nice info

It takes some time to show your ads (10-30 minutes )
