Yes, he's hysterical. Well, Jimmy has appeared in some other TV shows and had a shot at a singing career (I guess he was most famous for Crocodile Shoes). It's more the TV shows that continued for him, though. He is also involved in a musical of Sting's (another local lad). Fortunately, Jimmy Nail never did a Gazza.
Yeah I vaguely remember Spender mate and that was good. I also remember his pretty good cover of Love Don`t Live Here Anymore. Thankfully he didn`t do a Gascoigne yes (now if we are talking football brilliance, he really did come into that category). I remember going to Spurs (wasn`t even a Tottenham supporter) just to watch him. He was absolute class and if he was playing today, he would be spoke about in the same way as the current greats. I truly believe that.
