    I am trying my luck in affiliate marketing - It's quite a new word / world for me.

    I was on road trying to board a bus and suddenly saw an email with 'New Order Notification'. Opened to see that I have managed to sell my first product online and wanted to dance on the road just like this !!

    I didn't celebrate because after all that work to get that first sale, I knew that I had a lot more work ahead of me of I was going to make even more money.

    It's an awesome feeling isn't it? I went away for the weekend with no internet connection and when I returned BOOM! my first sale...cha-ching!

    This is what it's all about for me when it comes to making money online, let the business work for you even when you're not there!
    It's a satisfying feeling eh?

    Anyways, well done to everyone but now it's time for the real work to begin! You can never stop (except for a cold one) and you must expand your knowledge and take note of what's working and what's not!

    Think the first affiliate sales was like 9 bucks from click bank. It was a slow painful first check.

    1) it took a bit of time for me to hit minimum threshold of $100.
    2) the check then took a few week to get ship to my country
    3) then it took a few more months before payment was clear and deposited into my account
    4) after payment, my initial $100 profit became roughly $40 bucks

    So I spend my first commission paying fees. I then take the photo of that cheque to show everyone in the family which is my form to celebrate.

    My first affiliate sale was on SEOClerks an paid $0.9 xD
    The one I will always consider my first "real" affiliate sale was $35 for referring someone to SEOSpyglass through my website.
