I have used Minimax in the past and found the price to be great compared to the service received. The drag and drop creator truly is genius and is worth every single penny of the $35.00 fee the program costs. Quick and efficient way to make WordPress themes!

I have not used any of them.
I just take the default theme from wordpress (now the twelve) and play around with it to my own liking.

For some of my wordpress accounts, i use the default because i feel that the themes are sufficient and more importantly suitable for the type of information i place in it. That's the cost-free way.

However if you want quick and good themes then Minimax is really not bad. You get good value for what you are paying.

My bottom line is look at the suitability of the themes you want to use and see who can provide you with that service. :)

I'd say Minimax is the best.

I checked it out about the same time :) puts a lot of bloat in but I'm not sure how much of an issue that really is

Do not hesitate for using them as they have complete guidance and documentation along with reasonable prices. Just focus on your project/task.

    Ditto! Spooky.

I tried it out for making WordPress and Drupal themes. I didn't like it at all. Very unstable. I prefer to take a base theme (such as Twenty Twelve on WordPress or Zen on Drupal), create a child of that and then just make my own theme (as bad as I am at design).
