Business interview site

Hello all, I have decided to go ahead and make my new site live, so I can get some feedback and work on priorities. Its current goal is to inspire readers through its exclusive interviews with people who have started their own businesses.

I would appreciate any feedback, praise, ideas, or criticism, and I also want to encourage people who want to be interviewed to contact me without hesitation :D

I think it is generally a nice layout, although might look good with some tabs at the top? Maybe for help link, contact links, sitemaps links, etc.

Colors are too dark and not giving a hope… :) serif fonts don't look good...

Site Design is Not Good, Change your font. Change Colors, use light colors.

Revision will be much lighter :)

I'm surprised about the font, I had thought it looked good. The revision will use primarily a sans-serif font, then :)

    Thank you!

The font of the date is too close to the text below in FF - might be worth baring that in mind.

I like the design, but it looks a little sparse at the moment - good start!

Wow, I really like your website. I enjoyed reading the interviews. I'm going to stumble it and add it to digg. Plus, perhaps post to my blog about it!

I might be a good candidate for you to interview. I'll send you a PM.

One thing that I might suggest is that you could add a comments section or something. Perhaps letting your readers ask questions that you can fwd to the people that you've been interviewing.

I like the quotes and theme of site. The dark background does bother me a bit.

Is it intentional to have the dates slightly overlaping the article title?

Thank you! I have thought about comments, and I would really like to find out how many people would really want to add comments. I was thinking about having a quick-feedback box here and there that asks questions such as "do you want to be able to leave comments?" :) Submitting questions for the interviewees is another good idea. I would certainly like to do follow-up interviews because I keep thinking of new questions for the specific people once they reply to that round of questions.

I'm sorry about the dark background, I totally see it now... haha. Having the titles overlapping the dates was intentional, because I didn't think the date was important enough but I still wanted it to be there. Seeing as how people aren't digging the font, though, it's probably something I shouldn't keep.

Thank you. I value ALL of these suggestions. I went ahead and replaced the stylesheet with a lighter-colored one. It's not permanent, but hopefully it's better for now?

Thanks. What do you think about the two-column design of the interview pages?

LOL, I don't like it either and it will change soon.

Should I ditch the two-column design on the interview pages?

Is the new design better than before? (link in sig)

Waiting for Google to pick up all the pages after getting the URL's right. It picked up the index a while back, and then just yesterday indexed /index.php in addition, for a total of one page in search results, and one duplicate of that in supplemental x__x

The Azoogle publisher link in the old design had a surprisingly high click-through-rate. I'm not sure yet if I can make that happen with this design, but I think it will help the more important goal of getting people to request an interview. ^__^
