Suggestions Required from the Real SEO Experts

Hi,

Can any SEO expert review the below site and tell me why its not driving much traffic from the search engines. What's missing or wrong with this site.

(www.atravelbook.com)

Its approx 6 months old site having 300 unique articles and images. Site is being regularly updated from the last 5-6 months but its only driving approx 50 visitors from Google and very less from the other search engines.

Any nice suggestions from the real SEO experts will be high appreciated.

I'm a little bit of a SEO geek but I am still learning it.

But I can definitely help you out!

I don't know how much SEO you know but take a look at the following information about your site;

As you can see you do not have any articles ranking up on the first page of the Search Engines - especially Google.

If you want to drive good traffic then you need to be at least on the first page results of the search engines. And the way to rank up is by giving each one of your articles Baclinks,

You need to learn a little bit more about SEO.

Off-Page SEO and On-Page SEO.

On page SEO is basically having you keywords in H1, H2, H3 Tags, ALT Images, Bold, Italic, Underlined and one outbound and one inbound link with the keyword as the anchor text.

The next step should be Off Page SEO which mean BACKLINKS.

You will need to blog on the internet and not only on your blog.

This is what I always teach; you want to BLOG ON THE INTERNET NOT only on your Blog

Many people only blog on their blogs and expect the internet to automatically drive traffic to them.

That is not the case and you need to understand this fully before you start a blog.

I spend 20 - 30 minutes writing a blog post for my blog-site and then I would spend about 2 to 3 hours sharing that blog post on as many other sites as possible.

1. Social Networks
2. Web 2.0 Sites
3. Article Directories
4. Forums

As you can see every successful blogger would spend more time syndicating their content than creating their content.

There is no point on writing a book is no one will read it right?

Get this concept right and I promise you will see an increase on your traffic.

Review your SEO plugin in your home page there's no H1 tags. There's no h1 tags in you're category too.

Your website need to optimization. And also you to target local keywords. You can hire any SEO firm for optimize for website.

 

Can anyone suggest me what particular areas I should work on my website for gaining SEO traffic?

 

First of all you should start from bottom of SEO..for off page SEO follow the following steps..

1.Blog post 5 per day
2.Directory submission 20 per day
3.Forum posting 20 per day
4.Classified ads as much as possible, minimum 5 per month

Remember you should find blogs,forums and web directories that have higher page rank than your website..and always comment in a good manner..don't use porn,drugs,abusive related websites that google don't like..creating as much as back links is good for your website..and always focus only on 5 or 6 keywords..keywords must be low competitive with maximum local search..you may use many keywords but focus only 5 or 6 numbers..hope somehow it will help you!!!For More help message me..
