    Deep link directories are those which accepts deep links of our site, ie., www. yoursite .com/services. They are useful for building links to our inner pages and thus to improve PR.

    You may have come across directories which allow multiple deep links.

    Example:

    Link 1: domain.com
    Deep Link 1: domain.com/blog
    Deep Link 2: domain.com/ContactUs
    Deep Link 3: domain.com/offers/autos

    Deep link in a Directory is option to add some Deep link of you site.
    Like you submit you Home page in Directory but Deep link option provide you an opportunity to add any post URL of your Blog/Website in Directory.

    One could almost say it is an idea Google stole from directories. Google calls them Site Links. The first directory I ever saw deep links on was on Microsoft's Bcentral directory. I wonder if Microsoft has a patent?
