There are tools that can help you in determining your rank I am using RANK CHECKER but like any other tool it is not that reliable so I still check it manually..:)

in google set your page preferences to relay 100 results - this save loads of time

then ctrl f or apple f to open the finder and eneter your domain name. Should show you straightaway
or use seodigger <---- thats rad!

" This utility can be used to check search engines (currently supporting Google, Yahoo and MSN) for search engine ranking and track those ranking historically, which as you probably know is critical when doing Internet marketing for your website(s). "

if you check and see your rank, you should get an idea on what page your site is on.

I do exactly the same as Gringo - I have my preferences set to 100 results, type in the keyword and use Ctrl F (Find) to search for my domain

Yeah Gringo's idea is probably the simplest, Just need to break into google, number 69 for uk yahoo.
But not even on the map for google.
Have installed the firefox addon rankchecker which also seems to be pretty accurate.

google's webmaster tools will tell you but they are only updated about once a week and the webmaster tools have never impressed me. But I use them anyway to check errors etc, so i look at the search queries as well.

One of the recently added features in Rank Tracker is exactly about ranking with the right pages for the chosen keywords. If a wrong landing page squeezes into search results, then the notification will appear on the dashboard. Especially convenient for pros who have multiple projects and thus have to monitor results really carefully.

Google Webmaster Tools gives you the search queries that cause your site to appear in the search results. along with the impressions and the avg. position for each keyword. but you have to wait for 7 days between updates

As I use StatCounter to track the visitors so I'm able to know what keywords are being searched from my website so this is also very helpful, sometimes you don't know of any keyword and you get good ranking of that, if you recognize that via StatCounter then you can optimize that keyword too for better ranking.
