Contest $50 Logo Contest for ChristianPersonals.com -- simple concept!

This is for a Christian singles site, ChristianPersonals.com. Don't look at ChristianPersonals.com right now because that's the old design. Instead look here at our new design: http://tracy.pilotgroup.cc

The logo should replace the "PG Dating Pro" logo that you see at the top.

Simple concept: a cross for "Christian", and a heart or hearts for "Personals", with text ChristianPersonals.com and slogan "international singles fellowship". Perhaps also a world map background or globe or something to convey "international", but that part is not required, but it's something to consider if you want to full convey everything. Probably the slogan should be to the right of the logo image and text. And probably the .com should be vertical but you can try it any way you like. (I just think it should not be as prominent as the main text "ChristianPersonals".)

The height should be 50 pixels. Width is flexible. Please don't show me big logos (more than 50 pixels height). I only want to see 50 pixels height, because I want to know how it will actually look at the actual size.

Our sister site: We had a logo contest a few weeks ago for our main site ChristianChat.com. Click here: http://christianchat.com to see the logo there. This is not a requirement but it would be cool if the ChristianPersonals.com logo was similar (e.g., a heart shape outline globe or world map with a cross). Again it's not essential and we'll consider all concepts and designs but it would be nice to see some attempt at a "Christian Personals" version of our "Christian Chat" logo.

But perhaps more importantly it should match the design of the site (I mean the style). So be sure to make it look consistent with the template here: http://tracy.pilotgroup.cc . Actually that template is somewhat more of a metro style so maybe a simple logo style is better? Sorry I'm not exactly sure what would be best so I'm just giving possible concepts to try.

So you can simply make a cross cut out of a heart, or intersecting the heart, on the heart, or intersecting two hearts, or whatever.

So you a few options: a simple cross on heart logo, or a more complex logo with world map/globe outlined as a heart like our Christian Chat logo (or some other clever way to incorporate "international"), and also any more creative concepts. I'm thinking that simple is better to match the metro style of this template, but I'll leave it up to you all what you want to try, and we'll see how it looks.

Also it will be nice if it's all vector in case we need to resize it all for other uses.

Color is totally up to you, and it would be nice if we can easily change the color.

Contest duration: We expect to finish the contest on the weekend but that is an estimate and we'll need just a bit of time after that to decide on the final one by getting feedback from our users.

We had a great contest for Christian Chat, we're eager to see designs now for Christian Personals!

luckidesign perhaps you misunderstood the instructions. That's a concept for Christian Chat, not for Christian Personals.

 

Thanks Gladiator_28, I'm not sure if I really want much green in it, but besides that, it's too many hearts and the cross is too simple (it has no style at all). Two hearts joined together could be okay, or two hearts in whatever design, but I don't think three or more scattered hearts is a good concept for this site. That's my honest feedback, thanks for participating.

 

Puttu thank you. This is the best logo concept so far. The actual design isn't quite appealing enough but it's a good start if you would like to try to improve on it. I'm not sure what to do, but maybe one thing you could do is give the cross a white (or transparent) fill instead of the orange fill (and simply a colored stroke outline)? Again I'm not sure what needs to be done but you can try something.

Hi phpgod, I appreciate the attempt at the concept of a heart, cross, and globe. I think it's a difficult thing. The way you did it doesn't look appealing enough, but I appreciate the attempt. I know it's difficult to do that concept.

Putti made a good attempt at the less simple concept of cross and heart and globe/map.

I'm still also open to more simple concepts of just heart and cross, or two hearts and a cross.

Perhaps someone would like to try a simple kind of metro style (but professional looking)?
