What is Difference in On Page and Off Page SEO?

In simple:
On page means the things you are doing on your site to make it more search engine friendly..
Off page means the things that you are doing on other sites to promote or create backlink or solid reputation of your site

 

Offpage tools I use are mainly article submission service: DistributeYourArticles (they do manual submission of articles to around a thousand article directories and websites), OutRankSmart (this gives me unlimited link exchanges, directory submissions and more free one way links)...

I also use link exchange membership sites like linkmetro link2me and linkmarket... the more tools you use the better, so there's even more I use!

 

On Page SEO: It includes providing, Good Title, Content, Keyword selection, putting keywords on correct places for every page. It is short term process.
Off Page SEO: It includes Link building. It is long term process.

 

On Page SEO: On page SEO means that you can control and optimize your own website or blog to get your good ranking position in the search engine by using title, meta tags, content, alt images etc.

Off Page SEO: Off page SEO also works for search engines ranking of your website or blog by collecting links, forum posting, social bookmarking etc.

The seo is divided into two main category. On page and off page. The onpage seo is all about the different things that related to the page. It required work just for the first time. Onpage seo include title, keyword, description, alt tag of image, different setting of contents on page, navigation links, website interlinking etc. Offpage seo include those all activities that are outside your page or website. Their basic purpose is provide such traffic that provide good backlinking for your websites. On page seo is easier and it required effort only for the first time, but offpage seo always continue and required work on daily basis. Off Page seo is the long term activities and required patients for the turn out. It required blog posting, articles, submitting website to different directories, site bookmarking, using different social web site, through ads promotion etc

 

After reading all of these threads, I think I will concentrate on On-Page SEO first, then tackle Off-Page. They both seem equally rewarding.

 

On page optimization is what you can do to improve your own website like: Meta-tags, content, navigation, cleaning up errors, internal linking, alt tags, heading tags, sitemaps, etc. Off-Page SEO: This refers to what can be done outside of a website to maximize its performance for specific keywords/phrases by acquiring backlinks.

But off page seo is like the different ways to get promote your website on all over the internet.. If off page seo there are some main task which is used for website promotion like article submission, blog comment, forum participation, link building, book marking etc...

 

As I learned from my experience, it's better to start with the on-page SEO, and just after that to go with the off-page one.

 

Exactly, On page SEO means the url, content, meta tag, description, page title etc. which done on your own website pages.
Whereas Off page SEO means the efforts you does on other website like blogging, link building to promote your website.
