Should be an interesting contest if it happens. With 10k given to the winner's referrer there will be some serious blogging about it.

 

Except, any one smart would let us log-in BEFORE it starts to at least get the refer link. It would be way easier to get people to sign-up under you if you give them the link BEFORE the contest starts. Get it to them after it starts and all the great domains will be taken and the late comers will have to work a little harder than those that got in before it started!!!

I am building a website here.
I've got Facebook and Twitter set up as well but not much more then set up.

 

I try to stay away from Wordpress because it's so slow. For example, it takes me about five seconds just for your site to start loading. Content wise, it looks great!

 

I've not gotten to that part yet but today or tomorrow I'll fine tune the time and you'll see some awesome times on it.

 

I think the Leaderboard is going to stay empty for awhile!!! Yet, on page 2, you got a link to a review, content deep in a site, so it might be possible for some one in the contest to get in the top 20 before it ends!!!

 

I figure someone will get a top 10 but I don't see anyone getting a #1. A month old site against Wikipedia. I don't see anyone having a chance unless something went or gave the appearance of going viral.

 

I think they are getting what they want...traffic. I will NOT be giving it to them. One less hit on there logs.

 

It doesn't even say exactly how you get to the second round. Just says 'top contestants.' Heck, if only one person ranks just 20 for just one day, that's the top contestant, and the only one!!! You just have to be in the top 20 for one day to get points!

That would mean if I ranked #1 for a day I would win even if your site ranked #2 and stayed there.

You Rank 20th, and you get a point. It says nothing about how many points you need to get to round 2, just that you have to be one of the 'top contestants.'

Being at Rank 2 and staying there would win over one day of ranking 1. Look at the per day points chart.

My last post was about only one person being in the top 20.
