Contest Christian Chat logo winner

The official winner of the $50 prize for the logo contest for ChristianChat.com is gibblet, here is the design:



However we need to give full credit to brainstormingin for the great logo concept: a globe shaped like a chat bubble, with a cross, to convey international Christian fellowship. We bought the *concept* from him for $25 (to give us the right to invite other designers to use the same concept).

So we want to thank both gibblet and brainstormingin.

I should mention that the second "most liked" logo was from frikusha, and the third "most liked" was from unique-i.

Actually there were several logos that we really liked, so we have given "consolation prize" money to frikusha for her design, and also ciul3x for his design, and also ivicky for his design, and also unique-i for six of his designs. They were all good designs and we didn't know how to choose from those so we let our users choose from those (and also from several other designs) and the one from gibblet was the most "liked" by our users, so that's how we determined the official winner.

We may actually use some of these other logos that we bought the rights to, as well as gibblets, so we appreciate all the logos.

So in addition to the promised $50 award, we've also paid out money to frikusha, ciul3x, ivicky, and unique-i to reward their efforts and to also use their designs/concepts. I'm sorry that we could only have one $50 winner and I'm sorry that we can't reward the efforts of every single person who participated. But we'll have some more design contests soon, Lord willing.

P.S. Sorry for the delay on this contest, the Digital Point server failure set us back and it took some time to get the logos again. Also this was our first time doing this. Next time we expect it to go more smoothly

this has got to be the best contest holder i have ever seen! their attempt to be fair, buying the right to emulate pixelahead's concept and giving consolation price is amazing! most CHs would have just told others to follow pixel ahead's concept and all of a sudden you have 20 similar designs but this was amazing!
