Almost all of you are painfully and stereo typically wrong. Anybody who can gather the funds to go to court ($5k-7k USD) can get their money back. Take a look here: http://www.paypalsucks.com/ and learn a few things. Gosh almighty.... Unfortunately I was a minor. Should I now be refuted from PayPal forever? I wouldn't consider that right, if anything everything can be voided in court.

Currently they don't have enough Administration skills to take care of my issue, and I cannot afford taking them to court. I am sure as they monopolize more and more of the internet/payment processing world they will adapt and I can easily call them up and fix my problems with a simple verification of my identity (SSN, whatever). Right now, it takes way too much paperwork.

This is the truth, peace out.

From my experience if you drop PayPal you WILL see a lower conversion rate.. it's inevitable.

If you really can not get your account back (it's usually pretty easy to do if you provide them with what they ask for) my advice would be to use a traditional merchant account as well as Google Checkout as another option.

I personally let my customers purchase via my merchant account, PayPal or Google Checkout. The more options the better!

Dealing with Paypal is definitely tricky.

My account was permanently limited as well.I was using them for more than 4 years and had about 3 disputes in total.

My transaction scale was increasing rapidly in the past few months.I had a dispute in the month of March and BOOM my account was limited.

The worst thing is they do not even give you the right reason. When i called them they just said that they considered my account to be high risk and that they cannot provide their service to me.

Seriously Paypal?High risk? But,i'm glad that my work isn't completely dependent on Paypal. The limitation hasn't affected me a bit and i'm happy with Skrill as i can be at peace.

I had no serious problems with PayPal. I did so with 2Checkout and just posted thread about it:

I have heard many complaints about paypal denying access to funds and arbitrarily blocking access to the account itself. I've never had this problem and I've been with paypal since it first began. I think, considering the volume of accounts paypal services, the true number of abuses is small. No, they're not perfect and they take more than what I think is fair, but they're still the best. The only other payment processor I've used is Serve, by American Express. It seems okay, but I haven't used it that much.

Well, we all have to face the fact that most online marketers and buyers are using paypal for their payment processor. There are numbers of other processors you can use such as 2checkout etc. The choice is yours really...

I have never had any problems with Paypal, but I would recommend (like many others) Moneybrokers as a alternative if you feel unhappy with Paypal...

You can ues Amazon Payments to accept payments. However, the person paying you must also have an Amazon account and be based in America, the UK or some other countries.

I've been working with National Processing and never had any issues. They even have ACH Payment Processing and check guarantee, the 2 which I exactly need. They've been treating me well. So far, so good. ;)
