This is a great read for anyone interested in building a list... I've been through it twice already.

Although the link above does require an optin I did actually download it out of curiosity.
There was no upsell after optin just a 125 page ebook that is very well constructed and very informative for people wanting to understand the principles and aims of lead capture and generation.
Not just from an internet marketing point of view but as a business model in general.
It is well written and no fluff.

Thanks for the resource page drew. There's a lot of healthy reading material in there! :)

Lead Generation in General should be the ultimate first goal of any new internet marketer. Whether or not we call it lead capture, list building or email marketing. It really is the quickest, easiest and most effective way for new internet marketers to start generating an online income. Too many people worry about traffic and content before getting the lead capture system in place. So much so that they fail to capitalize on the traffic that they actually generate. Most visitors will never come to your site again - getting that email address is essential if you don't want to waste the potential of the traffic that you do have.

There's a ton of valuable information in here, and this is coming from someone who's been listbuilding for nearly a decade.

    A+ Thanks

    What's the lesson here?

Provide a great, value-packed offer and people will thank you for sending them to your squeeze page and share it.

Just look at the thread replies :)

Yeah... i'm glad I found that. Better information than some of the lead generation pdf's that people sell...

I'm in the process of making a similar funnel in a different niche with dual offer walls as described in there...

Yup and when they find that you can give them the solutions to their problems, they will naturally trust you more and will purchase what they require from you. (plz do not abuse this trust, once lost, it will not be easy to regain.) :)

There's only that one chance to make that good lasting impression. One chance only. :)
