Need some help with Keyword search/SEO

    I own a website: www.fitnessregiment.com
I went on google adwords keyword finder, and found a bunch of keywords which are marked as low competition and high search rates.

Are these optimal? Some of these are searched 30m+ times a month globally and have low competition, are these the ones I should be aiming for?

How many keywords should I get? I collected around 7 phrases, which are not very long but according to adwords have low competition.

What should I do with them? Should I get a backlink builder or SEO optimizer with these keywords in mind?

The keywords you searched; did you searched using the "exact match" method or "broad match" method?

I have no clue, I closed it cause it didn't seem realistic, in terms of keywords that were coming up.

Can you recommend me a way of finding best keyword phrases for me to use, that are low competition to help me gain best visitors and rank?

I would have said check out the competition for the things you are selling but your store is not stocked presently and your blog has nothing much in the way of content so really you need to get some content in targeting the phrases that relate to your products and what is related that will bring people to your products.

A blog is a perfect place to not just go for low competition keywords but also to range across the board so you are building up to cover all the angles.

first choose some medium competition words which have got below 20k local monthly searches. Target locally before you go global.

I would suggest you to consider the local monthly search count if you're targeting particular geographic region.

Ok so what do I use? To find keywords? any guides I can use?

I don't have content because someone on this forum told me my website that I paid 170$ for is crap and not SEO friendly and that I will never get any visitors on it and should just change to wordpress.

I would but Wordpress doesn't meet my necessities at all....

What should I use to get keywords and how to see their rank, competition and searches?
Then how should I make my site come up first for those keywords?

    As I said >

If SEOMOz or Highrankings or SEOBook or other SEO Company are your competition (for example) there is only one way to beat them. Check them out and better them. Get my drift?

Yea I get that... But how do I do any of that?

    How do I find keywords?
How do i find the competition?
How do I then beat them? (Do I need backlink building? what do I do?)

I know this is allot of questions, can I call you on skype maybe? I know people don't generally like nubs but I am just not experienced in this area...
