Buying Hosting that doesn't use Cpanel

I have a hosting with awardspace and i am happy with them.. but i plan to add more sites, and i dont like putting all them on one hosting..

Looking for reliable and tested hosting that doesnt use Cpanel or anything similar structure.. why not cpanel? cause they use addons, i dont like the idea of having 5 domain and only 1 domain is the main and the rest are subs..

 

You are slightly mistaken. You can use all your domains as stand alone domains in cpanel

 

Anyway, if you want you can buy Windows Hosting where you can keep all domains saperate

 

Really? i had cpanel before and it always is just addons..

 

Of course it would be add-on domains. You can try finding cheap reseller cpanel hosting though, and set separate accounts for each domain. Guess that would serve your purpose.

When you add a domain as add-on domain it does not become sub-domain. For example if you have 2 domains, one is abcd.com and another xyz.com and abcd.com is your root domain and you add xyz.com as add-on domain, xyz.com will not become sub-domain (xyz.abcd.com) of abcd.com . In fact, both domains will open independently.

Otherwise, you have an option of windows hosting though it is a bit expensive.

 

Well we can offer Confixx and LiveConfig as alternatives for Webspace instead of cPanel. There is not need to go for Windows, you can stay with the good old stable Linux and just switch the control panel as you planned

cpanel needs a main account for logistic purposes, and some programmers decided to confuse people and call every other domain an addon. In truth all domain are equal and work independently. I have Plesk on my VPS and i miss cpanel.

 

You are very much correct. In fact, all control panels need a main account for logistic puposes, so cPanel, Helm, Plesk and so on, function same way ...

You may want to look into reseller hosting as an option. Then you can create multiple accounts and keep them separate.
