I think on-page and off-page SEO are equally important. On-page SEO is enough by itself, but given the competition among sites these days, it's best to have off-page SEO to give your site's rank a boost by building relevant links to your site.

If you need Business Then SEO (On page and Off page) very Important.. On page throw analysis sites only off page throw got (back link) Traffic........

all SEO works are related with on-page tools.

 

It depends on so many factors. What is the site being promoted, how bad is the competition for this site. If the site has some competition, then you can't choose between on-page and off-page. You will have to do both, otherwise site can't survive. If competitions is close to zero on none, then you can stick with on-page work.

1> Take keywords with less competition
2> Take keywords with high traffic
3> Choose long tail keywords
4> Analyze competitors website during the process
5> Research keywords with its synonym, meaning and wrong spelling also
6> Analyze keywords assuming that you are the user.
