Search engines don't like flashy stuffs, so if you put some content, text content in place of description etc. then it would help and try to minimize use of flashy stuffs as well.

And your assignment is a corporate flash-based website? the content of it can be seen by google. the problem is that mostly a flash-based website is consisted of one page. But still is there someone who had some concept strategy of ranking flash website ?
visit a flash site on an iphone then take flash site and look at it as though you just blew your nose on a tissue proceed to do what you would do with snotty tissue with flash website
