I host some videos on my website that are very popular (18 million + views). I own full rights to the videos so it seems a shame that I'm not monetising them. I tried applying to be a youtube partner but was declined. Is there anywhere else I can try?
Are you sure these sites share revenue? I'm pretty sure vimeo doesn't (unless you can link me to something that says otherwise).
Blip pays you about $8 per 1000 views, but you need to upgrade it, which costs $8 s month, I think machinima or something similar which pay you to put a small add on your video which people can click to go to that site (like the subscribe bottom) Hope I helped
How you are getting views to your videos? are people searching it online with the video name or its just spreaded all over like on social networking sites and all to get views? if its spreaded on the particular url then there is nothing much you can do other then reapplying for partner account at Youtube and if its the keyword or name of the video which is searched on Google and traffic is coming from there then you could just build a simple webpage hosting the video and submit it on Google search. Though it would take some work and time to grow but you will get maximum profit this way plus things will be entirely in your control.
