    sub domain will not help improve alexa rank of main page .If you want good treffic for your website than you need to do unique submission such press release and article and web 2.0 submission .you can get alexa rank by sem ...

    It depends if your subdomain shows as independent in alexa stats or not.
    If your subdomain shows under the main domain , then traffic to it will improve alexa rank of main domain. See example here:
    main domain is smugnet.org
    if you look up it's alexa rank page, you will see that most traffic comes from visits to its subdomain:
    chicago.smugnet.org

    ahh crap. My subdomains dont show up in alexa :( Any ideas on how to fix that then?

    I originally had my site as one massive cluster F*** and split parts of it up into subdomains for some good reasons.
