Hello, I came across a great affiliate program from Grasscity but I am having a hard time finding a source for advertising. Adwords obviously will not work and recently I got declined from a bunch of other mainstream PPC networks. So what should I do or where should I promote this kind of stuff? I would still like to go with a PPC, affiliate network and not go from site owner to site owner directly. Much easier this way.
Personally, i think a good idea would be to target the U.S. market, in particular where marijuana has become legal as well as states where it's legal for medicinal use. Then from there, perhaps try targeted location based Facebook PPC ad's as well as targeted location based POF PPC ads......Seeing as it's legal in certain states/cities in the U.S. I doubt FB or POF will decline ur ad. (Obviously,you will need to target an above 18 age group) You could also look at partnering with a few dispensaries and advertise with banner ads on their sites...thats off course if they do not sell the same products already...
I have had the same problem with some of my niche sites. I found a cool place where you can advertise almost any site except adult. Its called SiteScout.com (No its no mine - I wish it was then I would be rich). The way it works is there are thousands of sites there you can pick from and advertise your banners. It a CPM model so you will bid on certain sites then you will pay so much money per 1000 impressions. So you might bid $1.50 per 1,000 impressions and if the highest bidder is .75 per 1,000 impression you will only pay .76 per 1,000 impressions. It takes practice but is a great way to advertise on some of the biggest sites on the internet. I hope this help. ViewGeeks
I have to do a bit of that myself curiously enough but weed is legal where I am. Its sort of a non issue around here but check out the folks at weedmaps.com they are quite helpful. Or here I guess, their site is forwarding elsewhere apparently.. https://legalmarijuanadispensary.com/ I can physically put things in peoples shops but I had my client buy this http://www.idevdirect.com/ I typically have my clients run their own affiliate programs. Seems like a really professional network however I was unable to start my Grasscity campaigns there because they were declined as usual. Reason they gave was that I am trying to promote drug abuse. Really? With T shirts and water pipes? Oh wow.
Try social media like facebook and twitter. also use sites like addmefast and youlikehits to grow your social following and get others to retweet your links. that should help. you can reach thousands of people that way. good luck.
Hey LuckySamurai. Have you heard of the program Facebook Target ID by James Renouf and Jeremy Kennedy? It's ah-mazing!!! I have it (it's like $10 [I think? They may have raised the price now?], hit me up if you want it and I'll give you my affiliate link) and I'd be happy to utilize it for you for free if you do all the legwork. Just a fellow stoner who wants stoners to succeed. It's for FB which I really recommend for your niche because your niche is super social. If you have no experience running an ad campaign I'd be happy to be your campaign manager. (Don't worry -- you can add me to your campaign as a "reports only" so I can only see your conversion rates and give you advice from there, you wont have to exchange money with me or give me any passwords or anything.) What you'd have to do is find MJ-related groups on FB & get the group ID number. Then, we input the group ID number into FB Target ID and it kicks out a list of up to 5,000 group members user IDs. These 5,000 members are highly targeted--liking a page is easy to do and then forget about, but passionate people join groups. Then you upload your user IDs as an audience. You'll want to find around 50,000~100,000 UIDs if possible, but you definitely want at least 10,000. Now when you create your campaign as normal, you can select all your buyer metrics, but then you're advertising to those specific group members only. This ensures that you're targeting passionate buyers in your niche. Even though FB Target ID recommends CPM, which you can have enormous success with, always start with CPC so you can control how much you pay per click. Once you've spent about ~$25-50 you can switch to CPM when you know how well your ad converts. I recommend testing a campaign with $100, but you need at least $10. If your ad is targeting a website/page, wait until each split has ~100 clicks before you decide how well it's performing unless it's an obvious dunce. For CTR: Toss anything .29 and under Split anything .30 and over. If it's not at least .5 within 100 clicks, toss it. Keep testing anything .5 and above .75 and above is great 1% and above is awesome! (-: If your ad is targeting likes for a page, always allow the sponsored post as well because it converts like a madman and it doesn't cost any extra. I recommend allowing Facebook to optimize your ad. This can be scary, because the first day or two it can seem really expensive. Set your campaign at $100, split your offers, and toss the bad ones and as the ads perform better, they cost less. Seriously. People pay fractions of a cent from the 3rd day on of having an optimized "likes" ad up--but you'll be paying the full $10/day [my recommended limit] pretty quickly for the first few days. The same guys that did FB Target ID are releasing FB Sniper Pro or something that functions similarly, but with recent comments on pages so you're targeting engaged fans. It comes out May 5, although I'm a VIP member so I've gotten it early. This one is a flat fee + $10 monthly, but I freaking love it because searching for groups is a huge pain in the ass. I haven't found a way to do it effectively using Google, and FBs search system (yes, even graph search) SUCKS. Thought I'd leave this public in case anybody else is interested in FB marketing.
It's so simple that you are missing it! If you smoke that stuff then on site that you like! Any place where your target market would be! You can use ppv and target other place that sell its checkout pages! There is so many places is so easy if you stat to think like your customer.
