It's ready. I wanted country codes in this release too though. I just can't seem to get on the same time zone as those that can help me with it!

    We need a plan B I guess.

    noppid,
I often work in the evenings from 7pm to 11pm. I would be CST in Canada so two hours earlier than you. If you need a hand drop me a note and I will be glad to help! I am on MSN and ICQ.

Point some weight at it or get some inbound links to it. You should be able to get it deep crawled and indexed.

Lot's of fluctuation in my indexed pages this week, hard to say what you can achive. Others have hundreds, even thousands indexed already. I'm still in the hundreds myself. I made major changes to my template this weekend and by the stats and G traffic, they dropped it and started over. Immediatly. G does notice the stores!

There is still alot of room for SEO in the template. I could not assume every senario for that myself in the default install.

BTW, there is another book shop?

I have no basis for comparison, so it's on folks like you to provide the data.

    I'm staying neutral.

Ok, I'll brag a little if given the chance. ;)

    Thread synopsys:
We made a book store to create on topic pages to be indexed (hopefully). It worked out, pages are indexed. Revenue was of no concern, however people are selling books.

    Program:
Uses a mysql data base and backend tool to populate that DB with amazon books of your topic. There are index pages and book pages(front end). All links are inbound except for the purchase form post link.

Once you have a book indexed in the SE's, even if it is removed from the DB, it will still display as if on file.

Thread synopsys from a novice - I tried another script similar to this, but sadly it wasn't accepted well by google, infact I had it for nearly 6 months and not onepage was indexed (my findings). Noppid got the bit between his teeth and after many hours of sweat and tears produced this bookstore. I find it more functional than the other, easier to use due to the poor level of system resources on my hosting package and more importantly infinatly more 'SPIDERABLE' than the other.

This thread is gennerally a story board of the creation of FREEBS

    GIVE IT A GO!!

PS it also cost me a pair of dogs bolloxs, but thats another story!!

I've been noticing that I'm getting about 1000 uniques a day to just my bookstore via Yahoo. Anyone else noticing good referrals from Yahoo?

Approx 250 a day from Yahoo, 15 from Google, 3 from MSN and about the same for the rest. And it's growing each day.
It sure messes the stats up though...all those strange terms :)

I guess the sales are pretty poor % wise though, 31 from approx 3500 searches.

5070 books in there now according to Google, hmmm maybe the 70 are pages I already had.
Is 5000 the max number of books we can have ? if so is it possible to add another bookshop to the site?.
