Although all the link Building method are important, but as per your question, Bookmarking is good for link building but try to do bookmarking on High PR sites. Forum also gives you benefit.

Do forum posting & blog commenting to get traction and to create brand awareness, not to build links. Link building methods such as article marketing, directory submission, social bookmarking etc doesn't work anymore post Google penguin and panda algorithm updates.
