So you are saying that it is not possible to get ranked on say Google unless one goes out to actively get links other than acquiring them by other means than letting them happen naturally then? So if say (for just one example) a person had 3 page 1 results for "best g00gle se0 to hire" (Change 0's for o's and search on Google.co.uk) this could not have been done from providing the content that best answers the question it would have to be obtained by trying to decieve with some (fake) link building thing going on which if I am reading you right you think you can also do by acquiring links from the top 25 competitors. And then to cap it off you advise buying links basically for PageRank by the sounds of things. Sounds quite barmy to me!

Money was put into the development of the design and then "distributed" in hopes of either getting picked up on forums or shared on industry related blogs. The direct traffic is nice, but links is the goal. I'm not sure what you mean by "deceive" and/or "fake". As I said above, every SEO knows that links is the difference between sites ranking and not. Whether you go out and buy links direct or you develop content-bait, you still fall under the umbrella of trying to generate links to your domain.
