Facebook ads - still Pending review?

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by ChosenOnes.net, Apr 3, 2010.

    Hi, a new guy here.

I've created a couple of ads on Facebook. 24 hours later, they still have the status of "Pending review". Anyone has any experience with FB, is this normal?

Also, just for the sake of the experiment, I've linked one of the ads to my landing page, and the other direct-linked to the vendor's page. Could this be a reason for delayed review?

    Thanks a bunch!

Seems like FB approves, denies, and reviews whenever they "feel" like it. I got approve for an ad then tried to change it from cpc to cpm and got disapproved. Go figure....

You must have set your CPC rate below 0.30$.

Make it above 0.30$ and your ads will get approved.

I have an experience. After getting approved, i had to increase the CPC rates to like 0.40$ + for my Ads to show up and get visitors.

Thanks for your answers. The CPC actually was $0.39, I've raised it to $0.45, but still no change.

Do they actually review every ad manually?

0.45$ should be enough. You should wait few more hours at least. It will start running at that cost.

Yes they do, sometimes it can take ages, sometimes within minutes, Make sure you set a fair daily limit, because it seems alot of FB ads are auto clicked by bots, well atleast that was my experience.

Well, I do have "free" $50 to experiment with and draw my conclusions :) I've set the daily limit to mere $5. It's the same plan I had with Google AdWords - play with "free" money and learn the system before opening the wallet.

Again, thanks for your help, people!

And just in case anyone wondered - my ads just got approved, both of them! I guess raising the CPC worked ;)

They've already got 8 clicks each, average CPC is $0.37 and $0.26. There goes my daily budget :D
