It didn't get me a reason, and now I can't seem to find it? Was it a mistake or did I really get a warning, and if so, what on earth for?
Click your name top right, when that opens click "Your Profile Page". They are listed there. hope that helps, Nigel
And don't forget to go through Rules properly to avoid further infraction in future. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/help/posting DON.
Ok So I do have a warning and all it says is: "Digital Point - Error You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." So what is it for? Which post is it for?
Hmph, stumper... that sounds like a bug. The powers that be will flesh that out for you. Nothing to really worry about. Nigel
It means the post you got a warnin for was deleted. You can check your email for details on what it was.
Ok I see what it was specifically for - And it was for Posting a reply to a for sale ad My reply was - "Sent PM - Interested in health related sites" I'm assuming the warning was for bumping a thread? This was not my intention, I was purely grabbing the attention of the seller. I looked in your rules/guidelines for posting, and it states "Don't post in threads just to "bump" them to the top of the list of threads" - I was not posting in the thread for the intention of bumping it. And it was not my own thread so the rule of "If you would like to push your thread to the top, simply use the "Bump" link within the first post of any thread you started." does not apply. Where exactly did I go wrong?
Good point, must have missed that. /slap on the wrist accepted Thank you for clarifying this. And Also next time I'll remember to operate on more than 3 hours sleep =)
I've received 23 warnings in my time here, and doubtless will receive more. What I have learnt to do is to *try* and not repeat my mistakes and in certain areas, modify my behavior. If we learn from receiving warnings, then these things become a positive as opposed to a negative.
Yes twice, both times for a few weeks. Actually it was a nice break from DP. Everytime I come on here I'm losing productivity, and *really* ought to be concentrating on what I'm paid to do.
