    Kevin,
Aren't the page uploads slow in Magento? Is there a way to accelerate page upload? Do you know of anyone that can set up shop(s) in Magento for a reasonable price? We will provide data in excel or csv file and images.

SEO friendly is a must in Ecommerce platform.

Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

There are huge amount of solutions for various projects. But for the most of them I can recommend Shopify - reasonable pricing, very simple in setup, stable & quick and integrated with a huge number of apps. Anyway it is worth for your consideration.

I prefer 3dcart. Although it is a paid cart. It is more user friendly, customized and includes many templates and features than zencart and opencart.

The choice of the shopping cart is a highly responsible step. You need to consider many aspects:
the quantity of products, customers and possible orders
    customization opportunities
the variety of extensions and other options.

I'd suggest you to check this infographic and find out which features are more or less valuable for you.

    Good luck!

If your site is small, try to use WordPress as the platform. And Colorshop ( http://wordpress.org/plugins/colorshop/ ) eCommerce plugin for WordPress.

Magento is the most popular platform for e-commerce sites, so I’d rather go for this one. However, if you think in terms of search engine rankings, Wordpress might be an option too, because Google kind of likes this platform, and it has a lot of plugins for e-commerce sites, and for optimization related tasks as well.

One more thing to consider is how easily you can move data from one webapp to another. Who has the time to re-type the same data in different places, the quality to look for is a complete two-way integration.

I encourage you to have a closer look at Magento, Shopify and Bigcommerce, which all have good integration options to both CRM, accounting and email marketing solutions.

megento is definitely my vote for top e-commerce solution outside of the wordpress cms...however, if you're considering wordpress at all, go with woo-commerce, they're a great e-commerce solution with more than enough themes built specifically built for it.
