How long to get approved by ebay partner network?

For those of you who were approved and have active accounts, how long did it take for you to get approved by the eBay partner network (affiliate program)? I just submitted my application and am wondering how long it is going to take now..

 

It was actually pretty quick, have a quality content rich site and not LIGHT and you will get in. If you have a stock ebay affiliate script site with nothing BUT ebay listings will usually NOT get approved. Last year they approved everyone under the sun and that led to a ton of fluff sites EVERYWHERE.

 

it all depends on your luck. i was approved after 13 months

I was apporved after 3 months, I used my personal blog and made sure my email address was not a free on. I used

Why does ebay take so long to approve some accounts?? Many of the other affiliate programs are very quick. I was approved for the Amazon program in less than a day. Other programs were a similar amount of time. I ahve been waiting on ebay for weeks not nowing what the deal was. Now I realize that I am not alone and it may be a while!!!

 

I applied yesterday and immediately verified the domains I listed. But didn't tell exactly as to how many days to get approved.

Good luck! I think we were in the program many years ago. But the last few times we have tried to give them a chance, because it would be a good fit with our sites... they actually refused us! And, the sites should have been very acceptable for content and such. Certainly superior to many of the ebay only crap one runs into on the Web.

So, good luck on getting accepted at all. Maybe we will try to make a site for eBay special, but don't know if it is worth it.

 

Confirmation of one of my 3+ year old sites took less than 24 hours.

 

But, apparently my account is still in the approval process.

 

Ebay always looks for quality sites. Ebay looks for sites that will provide a value to the consumer which will help the user to be engaged. So it might need a little time to be approved.

 

Congratulations for your approval. Ya time may vary from site to site. My site took 4 months to be approved.

i got approved instantly... and i made more then $20k on EPN.

I just signed up today (26th July 2013). I will pop back and let you know how long it took (supposing I get accepted!)

 

Did you get a quick email response from EPN saying they got your app and are looking at your site.?

I had a buddy that applied via my recommendation and he got a quick HELL No on his first site.. so he bought another quality site and applied again but the second time he never heard the first word from EPN. So after a few months, he gave up on it.

I am not sure what to make of it but if you plan on applying with EPN, make double damn sure your site is rock solid first. Don't throw a thin site at them and then expect to try again later with a better site if the first one gets denied. It looks like EPN might just give you 1 swing at the application process...
