So I just set up my first site with my ebook and need some advice on how to start monetizing it. I want to know the best methods of monetization and how to do it.

The book is listed on my site here: http://crackingthemonetizationcode.blogspot.com/

What is it about? Sorta hard to advise you if we don't know what you are selling. There is a lot to consider here.

It is a guide to make money online basically. I give a bunch of different methods to make money. I try to go in depth into the best ways. I don't give the basic ways I introduce the best ways that actually work.

Well, conventional wisdom around here would be to go the CPA route in order to receive said ebook.

I typically view this sort of thing as a study in infinite v. scarce goods.
    https://www.google.com/search?q=inf...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Less the time involved in writing it, you essentially have an infinite good. It costs you bandwidth(nothing really) to give it away for free basically. Or you can stick it on a filesharing site.

Why would you do this?.... well just spitballing some thoughts real fast but you could hurl up something like this http://www.optimizepress.com/ perhaps with a little forum or something and run a consultancy of sorts, rather than simply peddle the ebook. This is largely due to the relatively short shelf life of that demographic.

While I wind up developing and marketing a range of e-commerce related matters, I largely make my money telling folks what they should be doing and why. Your book would be a pretty sound entrance into that realm.

Long story short, give the book away for free if folks sign up for a newsletter you can write weekly or something and give folks a reason to buy things from you that are "scarce" This would include ongoing advice, consultancy services etc. But also, at the end of the day you have built your own list without making folks fill out a survey or something annoying to get your book.

I would frankly make a torrent file of it as well with a caveat or text file in it that says if you like it consider joining my mailing list for weekly updates etc. You can also sell adspace in said newsletter once you get it up there etc.

This also affords you a range of revenue models, not just one.

Hope that was not too short. I am a tad swamped this morning.

hope that gets the brain working as well :)

You could always sell it on this forum and other similar forums. If it really works at making money, you could make a significant amount of money. In addition, you could also start building a buyer list which is worth its weight in gold.

Your book is called Cracking The Monetization Code yet you are asking how to monetize it?
Not quite sure what you want to monetize.

As far as yur site goes I find the large blocks of text hard to read. The lines need to be spaced out more.
I would put another buy now button under the first image half way down the page.

You might consider having your own graphic for the Buy button and make it larger.

You might think about getting visitors to your site if they attempt to leave without buying to give you their email addresses to get them on a list so you can contact them with snippets of information from your book to entice them to buy.

I don't know if you can have an exit pop up or something similar with blogspot.

    Good luck with it.

I have to agree I found it very difficult to read that sales copy. It is not spaced out well at all. Do you have an autoresponder and are you building a list? You would be better to have a free related report and then sell this as an OTO.

Do you realize that Google can at any time close down Blogger sites? Why are you using this free platform? You would be better to use Wordpress, which is free, but you need to purchase a domain name.

Get some Kindle love. Either sell on there or sell other books on there with invitation / link from the book to your Ebook. The one you're really selling.

Write a compelling sales piece and post a few ads on Craigslist or Gumtree and get interested people to click through to your site.
