    You can share your sites posts on social networking sites and get traffic and link as well
    Post Articles on web 2.0 and share on social networking sites
    Post press release and share on social networking sites
    Make a Facebook page and Google + page. Post at your pages on daily basis.

People search for their needed or desired products and services and social media provide good sources of the desired things. SEO is something different but likes increase the ranking of the page made to promote certain product and services of any company.
