With a grand opening only that first wave of people that saw your 'grand opening' advertisements will ever know about your business. What if you don't leave a lasting impression on people the first time around and they don't word of mouth your site all over the web? It's easy to mess up but where would you learn from your mistakes in this case?

 

The question asked by the op was how to get backlinks not traffic. Traffic has to be supported like most businesses through advertising.

 

Well I figured they both went hand in hand. Noone is going to care to give you a backlink if they don't know about or visit your site (traffic)

 

Find the top blogs in your niche and provide good quality comments. Also find forums related to your niche and post on them.

 

That's where it gets shady. Google quality comments do not include links to random websites. Posting on forums needs to be on topic.

Now contact them one by one and try to negotiate a deal. Something you can give in exchange for a link. Try to only get less than 10 links first... Otherwise it wont look natural and you will get penalized by Google.

By doing this, you are getting ONLY QUALITY links and you can then focus on other priorities such as increasing your brand or sites via Social Networks.

Dont forget: 10 Quality links is better than 1000 crappy links..So dont waste your time in blog posting that is not relevant to your niche or just for the purpose of getting links...

 

Get to know people! Build relationships with them, because it'll come back to you in the form of links. "Natural Links"

For the best and successful campaign never ever try to spend even a penny on the promotion. Secondly you are allowed to get the backlinks from the relevant sites or blogs which show a sense of relevancy.

 

Ya, Richard. I am totally agree with your process. Apart from that process, If someone has extra time, then what will he do? Only for that reason I have suggested for guest posting because after panda and penguin updates, guest posting is the perfect solution for getting good traffic.

Good and unique contains can generate quality backlinks organically.

 

You may get backlinks from Forum posting Blog Posting Directory Submissions and Press release Submissions etc. i suggest you use only those website which have more than 3 PR.

 

They are NOT quality links.They are crap links! I advise my competitors to do their link building that way.

Look for software that is used for this purpose, which will work automatically Link building . The software is not free but much easier for this job.

 

Look for french directories, french article submission sites and french forums, well they may be hard to find but they will be helpful.

 

I look more into the site's domain authority as it tells how well a site will rank on search engines. If they have high Domain authority, that means that search engines see them as having high quality. I will then buy links from them. I know someone who can provide you with blogs/sites with domain authority as high as 95. However, that is not all. you may also need to look at the mozrank, moztrust, age, obl and many other factors.

For create quality backlinks, you have to link to quality sites in your niche, so try finding some french blogs where you can send guest posts and if they are approved you would be getting quality backlinks!
