Hello, I have written a cashback ebook for a UK based audience. From my research, the target audience should be ladies living in local authority housing. I am not from that social class and do not know anyone who is. How can I target that group with my advertising? My research shows that they spend a lot of time on the Internet, so I'd like find out where they hang out on the internet. Thanks, fcmisc.
I'd start by getting together a focus group of those ladies and talking to them about how realistic your ideas are. They'll tell you how to get in touch with more of them. Thinking you are posher than them might not be a great start though
Demographics are key I guess... you can hit media buying... find out what sites they visit and target them. you can also lazer target them via Facebook ads. And trust me... they will most certainly go there! Good luck!! Craig
They deffinately visit facebook! I'm not from that background myself but I know a few people who are, they are always talking about being on facebook and youtube. I would suggest making a little promo video on youtube and advertise it using facebook ads. Aiming for that demographic is difficult but you can narrow it down by targetting the poorest UK cities. If it doesnt appeal to everyone they will know someone it will appeal to, thats what facebook is all about
Try target them using facebook ADS - display your ad to pages they may "like" If you have a budget you could jump on media buying and look at the targeting options available
If you do have a budget, Facebook is a great way to work out the demographics when you are advertising. You can just Target the UK and forget about the rest of the world. You can just target females. Just look at what Facebook ads allow you to do.
