    You should know that traffics from Search Engines are targeted traffic so we should be after search engine traffic.

    If you need search engine traffic then you have to optimize some keywords and keyword optimization is all about SEO.

    Of course, you have to follow white hat method of SEO for better result, I would say there is no doubt to it, if get ranking and get traffic then it is not going to stop, it would give benefit for years if you have done white hat works.
