be careful about high pr sites, there are many sites with pr7, pr6 created on dropped domains

Twitter feeds....I thought about adding Twitter, Facebook and other social feeds. Two reasons I didn't. First, not everyone uses them or uses them regularly. The second and more important reason is that it would be allowing content on my site that I had no control over. I didn't want to run the risk of having people's foul-mouthed rants, libelous/scandalous comments, political commentary or perfectly fine but totally unrelated conversations on my site. While it does provide changing content for the Googlebot to eat up, it just seemed too risky to me.

On the other hand, if you are operating a business directory that only accepts companies with physical addresses and public phone numbers, you probably wouldn't have as many worries about that sort of thing.

You can always check the quality of their social pages at the time you review the link. If they are business oriented thats fine but if they are "hello mate, whats up" type of thing you just remove the feed link...

True, but I had to discontinue several feeds I followed. I checked what they had posted and it looked good. Enjoyed following them for a while. Something set them off and they were on a tear. It was mainly political garbage though, so it may only get out of control every four years or so, or whenever your key elections are held.

Not if you're only doing it for the PR that the aged domain had...
