Is there anything oviously wrong what I am NOT doing on my site

    Can you let me know if their is anything on my site at www.surfimages.com that I am doing entirely wrong or need to fix to help my seo. From my own research I have done all I think I can. Please let me know your thoughts...

    use more text in your pages, use <h1> tags for your main keyword...

    ex: <img src="16106.jpg" alt ="16106"> I think it would be better to use this: <img src="mexico-surf.jpg" alt ="Surfing in Mexico">

    Nice suggestion.... But I don't think he's targeting the word Mexico. Only alt="Surfing photos" would be fine.

    He was showing that instead of using meaningless numbers, he could use keywords. He was not suggesting him to use *that* specific keyword.

    It seems okay now, just start building backlinks to your homepage. Not sure if your keywords are competitive or not, but your site looks pretty decent already.
