Now a days SEO is very hard process.Only few webmasters know what is real seo.Here is some tips , using these tips you must get top 10 ranking for your site back if you are in penalty.
1. First off all you should have sufficient time to work.Don't go so fast , wait and work regularly.
2. Continue with google updates.
3. Redesign your site and upload quality contents.
4. Write CS passed articles and post on top 3 article directories.
5. Write press release and post on top 5 new sites
6. If you don't have your blog on site then first of all create blog like http://www.example.com/blog and post articles in every 3-4 days .
7. Start sharing your posts on facebook , twitter and google+
8. You can also start guest blog posting

I think blog is the necessary part of any website. If your site is suffering with penalty issues then have a look to starcaller tips as these tips will work for you and you can also send a request to Google after redesigning the site.

 

First of all, I would have my site signed up to Google Webmaster Tools. The great thing is that it will alert you with whatever the reason might be. And if you don't want to do that, then obviously you're doing some shady ****. I see no reason why you shouldn't put your site on Google Webmaster Tools.

These tips are cool and all, but this is the "basic" format that people use to rank their sites even when they're not being penalized.

Honestly, just provide great content, and find HIGH PR backlinks with good trust flow/citation flow. A site with tons of backlinks and high PR will show Google that your site is coming from an authority site.

Great content doesn't necessarily mean - more than 500 words, great grammar etc. Hell, you can have a wonderful pic and it's considered great content.

 

I won't say You can start. In today's world it is necessary to do regular Guest Posting. It is important to build good relationship with other sites. It can help you more than any other article site.

 

So these simple, basic tips are "real SEO"...? And only a "few webmasters" know these tricks...?

You don't need to "redesign". That's ridiculous that he told you that. Take Lesas advice in post #5.
and you don't need to add a blog either. Fresh new content is a major plus though, rather you add it as a page or by adding a blog to your site.

 

Now i am facing google penality in seo. this is good tips that you have given here. I am am using al ready this. 1 article submit in 20 article site. Blog post daily 1 post. website content is cs passed but my website is old.

 

I like the tips, thank you starcaller. I have a question. I face a rank drop because of the keyword i am targeting is the name of the website. And about 90% of backlinks have this keyword. Creating new backlinks with different keywords and reducing the percentage of old backlinks will take long time. Because i currently have about 4K backlinks to my website. What can i do to recover my website fastly in this situation?

 

Try doing Guest Posting instead of submitting same article in 20 useless sites... It will help you more that any article site.

You have 90% backlinks only for One keyword ?
I think this is the reason you got penalty.I will advice you to rotate keywords and URL's. Work on 4-5 keywords at least and home page and inner pages . I hope this will help you .
