Guys who want to do well with panda always rolling. Build Quality content and quality backlinks from authenticated sites. Keep your social media and sharing stuff alive. There needs to be activity on your blog. Do keep up good conversations on your blog to make sure your blog is alive.
Not true. It's not really going to look very natural if all of your inbound links are from high PR domains is it? Also, Panda had nothing to do with links. Panda is purely focused around onsite issues.
I keep on stopping myself from adding links but I can not claim I am right or wrong until or unless providing proof. http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2067687/Google-Panda-Update-Say-Goodbye-to-Low-Quality-Link-Building All those guys who think Google brings Panda update many times but have nothing to do with backlinks.
I operate a couple content sites that have been quite successful post-panda and I agree with your post. My main goal is to focus on providing quality & unique content that google can eat up. Also aim for gaining quality, related backlinks from other sites. Don't even think about wasting your time anymore with directory listings. I've tried it, and they won't get you anywhere.
Doing proper On page optimization is very important. You must not over optimize your site, asit can cause problems to you.
Additional utilization of Keywords is also harmful...Google now looks for original content with genuine information only..Rest of all is useless for them.....!!
Yes... That's true. You should not stiff your page with just keywords. Having proper content with your important keywords is important.
You need to regular update your site with posts every 1-2 days.. This should be fresh content that is unique & not copied. Google's latest algorithm is used to assess not just how many visitors you get to your site - but also how long they stay on your site & the number of returning visitors.. (this is an indication of how good the experience was for visitors to your site.. Videos are also a good way of keep your visitor engaged & keeping them on your site for longer. They must be relevant to the content though! Link your chosen keywords on your posts to high authority sites & have high ranking sites that link back to your blogs or posts. Finally, you can give your site, posts & blogs more credit by adding Google Authorship markup to one of your links. In Google's eyes, they give your more prominence.. Doing this as well as some on-site SEO (i..e title tags, description, good keyword density) will help you rank highly & get more traffic to your site. Any questions, you can email at JR
One big thing since Penguin/Panda is the way Google's algorithm parses backlinks. So it is critical to have a pulse on what types of backlinks you have to your sites and content online. There are 3 types of link categories: - brand - target - generic The definitions after tons of research bring this out: brand - links that include either your URL, company, or product name. Basically, it's when you try to get your business name out there with anchor text that identifies your brand target - links that contain the keywords you're targeting. This is what most SEOs focused on for a long time before Google gave them the sumo slap. generic - random links that have nothing to do with either of the other 2 types. ie. click here, visit this site, etc. You know, the links you're afraid to click on b/c you have no idea where you're being redirected to The distribution of these different types of links is apparently what there new algorithm additions have done. You cannot simply go on Fiverr anymore and buy 100 keyword-rich backlinks and hope you'll end up on page 1 within the next week. According to a good consortium of SEOs, this distribution appears to be as follows: - brand 40% - target 20% - generic 40% Seems like a weird split but you can immediately see that Google was intending to penalize the target heavy anchor text. So be careful about your strategies when creating or paying for backlinks. There are lots of free tools available like Open Site Explorer by SEOMoz and Site Explorer by Majestic SEO that will analyze a portion of your site to give you an idea of what distribution you have. Hope this was helpful - Phil
