I have a lot of articles I wrote and I'm wondering what to do with them? Should I submit them to article directories, or ask someone to publish them in their newsletter or blog or...???
To make a few quick bucks, sell your articles to someone with a website. See the buy/sell/trade forums here. But as dcristo said, you can definitely do better publishing articles to your own website. However, this requires an initial investment and some marketing to be successful. Basically, it's a lot more work, but the potential for return on your investment is much greater.
2 out of your 3. Skip the article directories. Try to find good syndication partners to use content on their blogs, websites, newsletters, and ezines with links to your site. Use your best content on our own site. Following that plan will get you solid backlinks, traffic, and potential conversions. (How often do you see article directories in the top of searches any more? (Excluding EHow..)
Add them to your site if they are niche specific. If you're just writing for the sake of writing, then either sell them or post them on ezine and get some traffic going back to something (affiliate product or website)
if it's unique articles, divide them into two. one goes to ur site. the other, have it published as a guest blog post.
I would like to use them to get more traffic, not to make money directly. But...I don't know where to find newsletters or blogs that would be willing to publish my articles. Any ideas?
You can send them to article directories of course, but why not turn them into videos, audio podcasts, slideshows etc and submit that content also. You will be multiplying your traffic sources this way.
You should Try Video or try a SEO technique Try Social Bookmarking for that. Traffic will come to your face.
If you want more traffic to your money site, create youtube videos with your articles. You can add the articles to powerpoint slides and use screen capture software or you can create an audio recording at audacity.com and add images using windows movie maker. Check to see if there is at least one video on the first page of google for your target keyword before proceeding, to increase your chances of being able to rank your video.
Submit your articles on articles directories it will work as your back link for a long time. If you submit on blogs with videos it will bring more traffic on your sites and it will be more reliable term to publish your articles and also betterment of your sites.
Can you tell us what your articles are about ? Also how many and how long are your articles ( average word count ). Maybe I can help you generate the traffic you need. Best regards.
I have around 20 articles in Internet Marketing/Make Money Online niche. Word count is from 400 to around 1200.
You can submit them to article directories for backlinks. If they are good articles you can submit them to Hubpages and Squidoo for backlinks and for traffic. It depends on your goals though. There are some people with reputable blogs that accept guest posts (some free -sometimes they charge $$), but they're usually picky about the content so make sure these articles don't have grammar mistakes.
There are services (and I assume you're part of some of them) where you can sign up as a member and you can either: 1. Sell your existing articles to customers or 2. Work as an article writer as the requests for new articles come in. One of the services that you may want to consider is this one: http://www.hirewriters.com/
Posting them on other blogs within that niche as a guest post is a wonderful idea to get you traffic.
That is an easy problem to solve. Try searching like this on Google: your keyword "submit your article" your keyword "write for us" your keyword "guest posters" your keyword "contribute to our" Example, do a search for: internet marketing "submit your article" That will return hundreds, or thousands, of websites and blogs that accept articles for their sites. The saem with the other phrases. Do a little brainstorming and you will come up with some other phrases people might use when they ask for guest posters and contributors. You can then pick and choose the highest quality sites to submit your content to. Do a little research on their pagerank, traffic, etc. Engage the site owner and find out what kind of content they need and then over deliver.
Some ways to fully utilize your articles: 1. Convert to PDF slideshare 2. Podcasts 3. Post to articles directories 4. Convert YouTube videos 5. Compile the articles into ebook. Give it or sell it 6. Etc
Have you tried reading them lol Seriously what is your goal? If it is making money have you a specific goal? You should have. But if you don't want to have a goal with articles to make some money maybe it works is to use them to promote an affiliate product e.g. convert them to video and submit to video sites... but you have to do this over and over and over again...
