The list is filled with past clients, prospective clients, and interested individuals. If you go national or international with your services you could offer your free guide to get people on your list so you can send out new tips and service offerings on a regular basis.

By having a list, you keep your marketing message in front of people consistently, increasing your sales and eliminating the "I forgot who you are".

Definitely don't cold call. Here's an idea I'm going to do because I also have services I offer businesses. Get addresses of business you want to contact. Send them a personal letter and get straight to the point.

To get on their good side, you can do one of two things. You can give them a $5 gift card to Starbucks or something...

...or you can put a quarter in the envelope and put in the PS section:

"PS. As for the quarter. Now you can say you got paid to open mail. ;-)"

The latter may give them a laugh; maybe not. I like it though.

The first method, while costly, will instantly build rapport with them and make them feel as if they owe you something. You may get a call from them just to say thanks...

I think their both really good ideas..

Cold emailing opens up a world of marketing opportunities, and it can be beneficial to your business in more ways than one. A targeted cold email list will have many interested buyers that don’t yet know about your unique business solutions.

It’s important to ensure your email list is targeted to your ideal buyer persona and that you’re using an email sending platform that allows sending to cold email lists.

    Good luck!

Hmm, bad idea. Because it make a bad first impression about yourself, your service or company. Good result requires a lot of time and efforts, because it's better to have 10 loyal clients than 100 doubtful.

I would not advise you to use a cold newsletter. I think this will only scare away your potential customers. Better try advertising in social networks. Either hire someone who could help you with the promotion.
