    Good idea..I don't really allow guest posts on my blog at the moment, because I haven't found someone serious about it yet...but I think it would be a great way to get new free content added to your site, as long as it was relevant.

    Oh this is very good to know! is backlink good for the blog post the person writes or for blog roll? i don't have blog roll on purpose, it makes site messy.
