    A press release is essentially a tool that lets users know about your company and website. While press releases communicate with users, they also communicate with search engines.     Press Release is some thing worthy a news from company,an improvement or some new venture addition directed to press publication and public awareness.
    Now we guys some how manipulate it for SEO purpose.Sure press releases work for sure but not with anchor text stuffing but with one anchor text and one URL.Submission and promotion is other key and good points added by arjunwants.
